But that is for another day. First things first. Before leaving Las Vegas, we made a visit out to Ethel. M's Chocolates in Henderson. Not only do they make some of the best chocolate around, this is also the home of Nevada's largest botanical cactus garden. The four-acre garden is covered with cacti and drought tolerant succulents. Most are native to the American Southwest, but there are desert trees and shrubs from Australia and South America as well. We were a little early for the Lights, Chocolate, Holidays! Christmas light display they have each year, complete with Santa and choirs. It runs from November 11 - January 1 and is worth a visit. Admission is free all year.

This was our grandson's favorite view
Be sure to get your sample of milk or white chocolate from the cheerful staff!
Hmmm...so many choices including champagne!
It was a fun morning and we even managed to get a bit of early Christmas shopping done.
